ABOUT

The hundred (100+) year old building in Phelpston has many historical versions of a carriage house, a traveller's stop for train meetings, tavern and renowned for the "Outhouse Races" of the 1970's. Roy and Kim, the newest owners, are long time local Simcoe County residents and fell in love with the history of the building and local connections. After travelling to various areas around the world of vacations, the dream to start their own pub business began.

Three years of planning and lots of sweat equity and the business is coming to life as a homey, country stop for great home-cooking. Fresh food made to order with the current traveller who come by in car, bicycle, walk in, motorcycle, skidoo's in the winter, or even walking the trails that intersect our location.

The Phelpston Roadhouse will feature regular home cooking menu items, as well as, refreshing "pop-up" options that will be created with family and health in mind.

A place to be with the BEST FOOD, STOP & ENJOY SOME DOWN TIME
